Motherhood: The Unlimited Test of Sanity.
I feel always that …….Motherhood is like being the CEO of a startup company where the employees are kids, the product is love, and the office hours are 24/7,and the dress code is pajamas all day, every day. It’s a hood where the word “quiet” is suspicious, “clean” is just sitting on dishwasher and the phrase “I did it by myself” can either be proud moment or start of mystery involving a missing cake.
And my experience is in the land of motherhood, “sleeping in” is a mythical concept, the idea that one day you will drink your coffee while it’s hot, you learn that “multitasking” means you can make sandwiches, pancakes, sing lullabies, and plan a grocery list all while using the bathroom.

“Kids are the bones of our bone and blood of our blood”
But let’s talk about mental hood, the inner sanctum of motherhood where thoughts run wild like toddlers on a sugar high. It’s a place where you find yourself debating the nutritional value of a raisin that’s been under the couch for a week or wondering if you can count the act of chasing your child as cardio.
In this mental hood, where you develop superpowers- like the ability to hear a sneeze through closed doors or sixth sense to predict when silence means “I’ m drawing on the wall” ha.. ha ..ha…… and also you keep all the wise words and use one day, like- “Because I said so”, and “Ask your father”. It’s a place where you wonder if eating chocolate in the closet count as a balance diet .
In the end, motherhood is a hood where laughter is the best medicine, and love is the glue that hold it all together. So, here’s to the mothers navigating the wilds of mental hood, hats off to all moms juggling life in the motherhood and mental hood.
You are doing great, even if your coffee’s cold and your pajamas is the dress code, and remember, even on tough days, you’re the superhero in your kid’s story.
Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed reading this deep but little funny feel of motherhood or mental hood.
